- Product Description
Silver nitrate is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula AgNO3.It is a white crystalline powder that is easily soluble in water, ammonia, and glycerol, and slightly soluble in ethanol.Pure silver nitrate is light stable, but due to the insufficient purity of general products, its aqueous solution and solid are often stored in brown reagent bottles.Used for photographic emulsions, silver plating, mirror making, printing, pharmaceuticals, hair dyeing, testing for chloride ions, bromide ions, and iodide ions,as well as in the electronics industry.
