Potassium dichromate is a toxic and carcinogenic strong oxidant,classified as a Group I carcinogen by the International Agency for Research on Cancer.It is also a strong oxidant and widely used in laboratories and industry.Used for making chrome alum,matches,chrome pigments,electroplating,organic synthesis,etc.
